Our Coaching Mindset is that we approach every staff member with respect, acceptance, and the possibility to become a world class service provider. We are on a cooperative venture guiding programs and agencies to develop mastery in Wraparound.

Our team of credentialed coaches have been providing training for organizations across Canada for over 10 years. Along the way, we’ve not only honed our training to be interactive, engaging and relevant, but also helped wraparound come alive in practice.

Wraparound is a mindset

There is nothing we dislike more than training that is forgotten within a few days or months. We work with organizational leaders to create a change management and implementation plan. Supported by our coaches, we make adopting wraparound into every aspect of organizational practice achievable including data collection, program evaluation, and learning and development processes.

Not only do we provide comprehensive introductory training to the HFWA and MiiWrap model, we work with each organization to customize them to their unique culture while keeping the needs of those they serve in mind. Our pricing ranges based on the scope of work and number of people participating in training, coaching and credentialing.

HFWA/MiiWrap Facilitator

Provides front-line work with families/youth and their team of supports.  

Allow 12-18 months for full practitioner certification. 

  • Novice Certification: staff has completed 101 training with limited facilitator experience.
  • Practitioner Certification: staff has achieved their novice certification and demonstrated achievement and adherence to fidelity on all their necessary skill sets of a Facilitator (documentation and observation). 
  • Coach Certification: Completed Practitioner certification,  Coach training and demonstrated their knowledge, experience and all necessary skill sets of a coach.

Strong Ties Canada can work with you to put in place a certification process upon request. Organizations who choose the certification process set themselves up for a sustainable training and coaching system for future staff.

HFWA/MiiWrap Facilitator

  • Novice Certification: staff has completed 101 training with limited facilitator experience.
  • Practitioner Certification: staff has achieved their novice certification and demonstrated achievement and adherence to fidelity on all their necessary skill sets of a Facilitator (documentation and observation). 
  • Coach Certification: Completed Practitioner certification,  Coach training and demonstrated their knowledge, experience and all necessary skill sets of a coach.

Meet Our Trainers and Coaches

  • Darcie Gage Head Trainer and Coach

    Darcie has worked in different capacities in the field of human services for the past 25 years. The last 15 years have been in leadership positions. Darcie has been credentialed as a facilitator, trainer and coach with Vroon VDB High Fidelity Wraparound and has most recently been credentialed in the enhanced model of Miiwrap( Motivational Interview Informed Wraparound) with Vroon VBD.

    Darcie’s passion is connecting with people. She approaches life with curiosity and gratitude. She believes in creating a learning culture, building people up and leading with integrity.
